Nana’s Chocolate Fudge Slice

This is a very popular, rich chocolatey treat. As the name suggests, the recipe originally comes from Nana.

Makes about 20 slices

Ingredients

  • 100 grams butter

  • ½ tin condensed milk

  • 2 dessert spoons raspberry jam

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa

  • 1 packet crushed wine biscuits

  • Desiccated coconut for decoration


Method

  1. Line a sponge roll tin with baking paper

  2. Crush the wine biscuits in the food processor

  3. In a large pot, melt the butter and condensed milk

  4. Add all the remaining ingredients

  5. Mix well to combine

  6. Press the mixture into the lined tin

  7. Set aside to cool

  8. Once completely cool ice with chocolate icing and sprinkle with coconut

  9. Put in the fridge to set

  10. When firm cut into fingers or squares

  11. Store in an air-tight container in the fridge
